Change Management – essential role of the proximity managers

Saturday 14 June 2008

Strategic change is one of the essential conditions of durability for an organisation. When the environment changes, the strategy and the organisation of an enterprise need to be adapted. These adaptations generate visible results in the field on two conditions:
• To be accepted by the collaborators
• To be accompanied by adequate “Change” trainings to help collaborators to develop new operational behaviours

Progress is specialised in this type of training, which we call the “Change” trainings. In certain cases we intervene in the wake of one of the Big Four (which takes the strategic and organisational aspects in account). This evolvement in the field is essential. Without change in behaviour and process of the operational teams, the strategic changes would have very little effect. The competitiveness of an organisation depends in large part on the speed by which they develop their new strategies in the field. Within this frame the training of field managers is primordial.
